The new showroom shared with Søuld

MOTARASU is pleased to announce its new showroom located at Hermodsgade 24, st, 2200 Copenhagen. We are delighted to share its premises with the brand, Søuld, which is a Danish materials manufacturer made from eelgrass.

Winner of Scandinavian Design Award 2023

DAWN wall lamp won the Scandinavian Design Award – for Best Lighting

The wall lamp is designed by Anne Brandhøj and Eva Fly from Bly Studio for MOTARASU.

At MOTARASU we could not be more grateful to receive this beautiful design award again. We were in a second time in a strong field along with five other amazing lighting designs.

Garde Hvalsøe Project

Garde Hvalsøe

Since 1990, Garde Hvalsøe has been dedicated to crafting bespoke kitchen and interior solutions.

In their showroom in Copenhagen, they made an union with MOTARASU by exhibiting the Enso pendant.

Dinesen Showroom Project

Mejlborg – Dinesen

Since 1898, Dinesen designs bespoke solid and engineered wooden flooring of extraordinary dimensions.

Located in the historic landmark building Mejlborg, Aarhus, the Dinesen Showroom was created by Studio David Thulstrup as an inspiring home-style universe which they share with their friends from Garde Hvalsøe.

Restaurant Kappo Ando Project

Kappo Ando

Their aim is to capture the feeling of walking through the alleys of a Japanese city at blue hour.

A place where all the senses come alive thanks to the interior designs made by some of the finest craftsmen in Denmark and Japan, like Motarasu with the Ron Pendant.

MOTARASU at 3 Days of Design

At this year’s 3daysofdesign we have the Japanese designer
Tani Toshiyuki joining us for the launch of the RON pendant.

MOTARASU will exhibit from two locations:

MOTARASU showroom at Frederiksgade 1
The showroom will be open all three days from 10-18 pm.
Meet and greet with Tani Toshiyuki 16. June 4-5 pm.

Illums Bolighus window display at Amagertorv
Meet and greet with Tani Toshiyuki 15. June 4-5 pm.
Tani will be in the window display 15. June 14.30-15.30 pm.

He will make a demonstration of the Japanese takesensuji
technique that is used to create his unique bamboo lamps.
