By fusing the design heritage of Denmark with the aesthetics of Japanese craftsmanship, we focus our efforts on the philosophy of surrounding yourselves with few, yet beautiful, high-quality objects that bring you joy.

JUNDO Daybed is the winner of the Scandinavian Design Award 2022 – for best furniture.
JUNDO is Japanese for purity and is designed by Mads Emil Garde. The daybed is the examination of what you can create with one simple shade.

About
MOTARASU was established by Mikkel Zebitz in 2018, after having fine-tuned an idea for a couple of years about bringing together designers from Japan and Denmark. Mikkel comes from a commercial background and has worked with building and developing business units within the fashion and lifestyle industry for several years prior to starting MOTARASU.
