Winner of Scandinavian Design Award 2023


DAWN wall lamp won the Scandinavian Design Award for Best Lighting.
The wall lamp is designed by Anne Brandhøj and Eva Fly from Bly Studio for MOTARASU.
At MOTARASU we could not be more grateful to receive this beautiful design award again. We were in a second time in a strong field along with five other amazing lighting designs. We want to thank everybody once more who voted for the DAWN wall lamp.

The Scandinavian Design Award was created by NordicWannabe by the German founder and editor in chief Stefan Peters.

The idea of the award is to bring together the community of passionate design lovers and connect them with individuals.
This award is unique, because it is not selected by a jury from the design industry. It is an award chosen by design lovers from all around the world.


DAWN is a wall lamp designed by Bly Studio for MOTARASU Dawn is designed by Anne Brandhøj and Eva Fly from Bly Studio. The aim of the lamp is to create a poetic solution to a practical problem.

DAWN is designed to be placed centered above a double bed, sofa or where reading light is required to two sides. One lamp instead of two lamps on each side of the bed or sofa.

Winner of the Light category in Denmark’s Next Classic 2022

DAWN has already been a success in the Danish TV show Denmark’s Next Classic 2022. 

This is the second time MOTARASU has been honored by NordicWannabe. Last year, the JUNDO Daybed won the Scandinavian Design Award 2022 for Best Furniture.
