JUNDO daybed

Jundo is Japanese for purity, which is what the designer, Mads Emil Garde sought for with this poetic design. It is the examination of what you can create with one simple shape.
You can personalize the JUNDO daybed depending on the type of use with how many cushions you place and how you place them – across the ribs, along the ribs or you can use the cushions up against a wall.
The cushions come in a choice of different covers – textile from Kvadrat or leather from Sorensen. JUNDO is available in a white oiled or black wooden base with a choice of 1-3 cushions.
Width: 82 cm
Height: 37 cm
Depth: 196 cm
Weight: 30 kg
Material
The JUNDO daybed consists of 16 slates/ribs made of compressed beech veneer, assembled with brass fittings. It is available in a white oiled base or a black matt painted base.
The cushions are made of high-density foam, that with its strong cell structure makes the material highly durable and long-lasting as well as comfortable.
Please note that colours shown on screen might differ to some extent from colours on the actual object, so we cannot guarantee a colour match. Also the natural material used may differentiate in appearance from object to object.
The cushions are upholstered in a choice of Kvadrat textile or Sørensen Leather with the following specifications:

90% New wool, 10% Nylon

Care
The white oiled beech veneer leaves the wood looking natural and gives a soft surface. Over time it will develop a natural patina, enhancing the beauty of the material. Dust can be removed using a dry soft cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. Cleaning of the wood can be done using a soft cloth wrung in lukewarm water stroking in the grain directions and immediately dry off with a soft cloth. If a more severe cleaning is needed, specific soap for white oiled wood furniture can be used following the instructions of the packaging. Re-oiling can be done if the wood starts to look faded or the softness of the surface diminishes. Make sure to find the right white oil for indoor wood furniture and follow the instructions of the packaging.
The black painted oak veneer can be regularly cleaned for dust by using a dry soft cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. Cleaning of the wood can be done using a soft cloth wrung in lukewarm water with a mild solution of universal cleaning agent added. Dry off immediately using a soft cloth.
Textiles: Vacuum frequently at half power. May also be vacuumed with a soft brush.

Leather: Use a vacuum cleaner once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimizing any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects. For further details please check at Sorensen Leather: https://sorensenleather.com/collections/care/
